Do I enjoy this series so far? Sure. Do I think it's trying its hardest to be as boundary-pushing as possible? Yes, to its detriment. I haven't seen the TV series (idk why) but it sounds like it's toned down to its strength.
I have volume 3 already so I guess time to read that, once I finish the other book due back at the library soon LOL.
