Fifty Shades Darker by E.L. James

5.0

This book is definitely for mature audience. If you liked the Twilight series, this book is definitely will be up your alley (since it was originally a Twilight fanfiction).

The sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey. Christian and Ana broke up! Oh no! Ana is upset by this, but continues on with life. It would be very interesting to see what happens in Christian point of view during this period.

Ana finally has a job, she’s not afraid to be independent and gets anxious when she has to take a back seat and not in control of her life. She is a very realistic and logical woman. I like her.

Christian, finally opens up a bit in this book about his awful past. I just wants to hug him sometimes, poor guy.

But don’t worry! They both made up after a bit, can’t stay away from each other too long. I’m glad Christian relented on his rules a bit. Who likes a too-controlling guy? Now, this new experience will make him grow up a bit, and much more loving, rather than domineering. He finally realizes what he wants out of life, and how to survive it.

Alot of Christian’s exes show up in this book. Ofcourse this is the book that the past will catch up with you. I feel sorry for all his exes, they’re all Ana in some way, I suppose Christian just isn’t ready yet.

The plot in this book is much better, it’s not just sex scenes, someone threatens Ana, will Christian come to the rescue? Ofcouse he would!
