Unbreakable by Dani Galliaro

5.0

I am not a pro hockey WAG at all, but Jeanine was such a relatable character. The struggles of motherhood, having an identity other than being a mother, carrying the mental load for everybody, and just not being seen or heard is something I feel like all mom’s struggle with at times but especially stay at home moms. Add a move basically across the country on top of that and it’s a recipe for disaster. Dylan isn’t a bad parent or husband, but he just can’t seem to see things from Jeanine’s POV.

I love that this book represented a variety of mental health struggles and also showed a couple who had been together for a while fighting to find their way back to each other. I really enjoyed this one a lot and I’m looking forward to reading more books in this series for sure!

**This book does address pregnancy loss so if that is a trigger for you I would tread carefully. I feel like it does address it in a very respectful way.
