I read this book on Stefany's recommendation. At first, I was kind of frustrated by the characters, the entitlement, and the overall structure of the story; however, this book took a turn in the middle that made me feel things I didn't expect to. It's a story of immigrants coming to American schools and trials that they go through in trying to "fit in" but also "stand out" and then it's also a story of the silent struggles that teenage girls all know too well. What started out as a story I wasn't going to like, turned into a story that will sit with me for a while. TW of sexual assault, but yes, I do recommend. 5/5
