Did I laugh out loud often? Yes! Was the family rivalry everything I wanted it to be? Absolutely! Was the "rivals to lovers" dynamic genuine, or was it one-sided? Read and find out! Guava and Grudges by the amazing Alexis Castellanos was such a fun read! I laughed so many times that I lost count. I also found myself hungry because the bakeries featured had some delicious food that I craved while reading the book. This was a cute and refreshing read compared to what I had been picking up before this one! The vibes reminded me of the Montague and Capulet rivalry, but without the tragic ending. Star-crossed lovers, anyone? If you are looking for a heartwarming, adorable, and quick read, I highly recommend checking out Guava and Grudges. It gave me everything I needed and more. I'm looking forward to reading more by Alexis!
