Contains some vague spoilers!!!
Enjoyed this book but felt it was slightly rushed at the end. When L and the bad guy go off together after realizing their feelings for each other, it felt forced but was still acceptable due to the snippets of a possible relationship mentioned throughout the book. The obvious hint of the next book also felt rushed as the new character was mentioned only briefly before but now has a small back-story already built up. I will give kudos to the bad guy for pulling the switch-a-roo on the Kindred aboard the ship, not the typical revenge path and I applaud you for not wiping out my favorite characters. Had we been given a glimpse into a certain male's perspective while engaging in intimate acts with his bride during the ordeal, that would have been an added bonus.
