Jane Eyre is a really compelling tale of its time, exploring themes and topics that still hold true today. I absolutely loved how strong-willed and independent  Jane was; carving her own path out of the hardships she faced. I did find the plot to be quite slow at times but anticipation of what was to come of Jane helped me push through.
