Introduction
Hidden Truths is the third intsallment in the "Perfectly Imperfect" series. I absolutely adored this book and I really admire the way that this author writes disability in romance, its so well done. In this one the diverse aspects are the heroine being of latin descent and then our hero suffering from some aspects of mental illness and PTSD of being forced into being an assassin as a teenager. This is a mafia romance, as our hero works in the mafia and there is an instant connection between these two and seeing the way in which they are able to connect was so endearing and empowering.

Summary
Our heroine, after seeing her father murdered and being forced into an marriage and starving herself, she manages to escape with the help of her nanny, and where she is then rescued by Sergei and is taken to his home where he keeps her as he knows that she is keeps secrets from him and he is determined to find the truth behind it all. What he comes to the realization is that she is need of protection. But as they start to learn each other, they also will have to face the fact that she has an enemy that will use Sergei to make her submit to them. But Sergei isn't one of the most dangerous men in the world for no reason, and he will fight for his woman no matter the cost...

My Outlook

I absolutely adored this book here, it was so well done. Every time I read this author, I am always amazed in how much I fall in love with her books. I especially love the way in which she writes mafia romance and the delicate way in which she handles disabilities and it's done in such a flawless genuine way. In this one, we are dealing with mental illness and struggles. I really felt for the hero and all that he has had to deal with. But the way in which he connects with the heroine, was endearing. The way in which she connects with him and can draw him out of his "episodes" in a way that no one else can just seemed to work so well for them. I loved how badass our hero is though, he definitely can take care of himself and from beginning to end I was so drawn into their story and their beautiful romance.

Overall View
I found Hidden Truths to be an addicting, tugging at the emotions, and leaving you breathless type of romance that will definitely be going on the keeper shelf!
