The Beach Trap by Ali Brady

4.0

This book was a delight! Kat and Blake find a best friend in each other at summer camp. When Kat has to leave camp early for a family emergency, her dad picks her up - only to discover Blake and Kat have the same dad…?

It’s 15 years later and their dad has died. He leaves them a Beach House to share. So the daughter he raised and the daughter he abandoned have to come to terms with their mixed feelings about family and childhood.

While one of the sisters had A LOT of growth needed to have any sort of healthy relationship, I still loved how at its core it’s about finding family and your own identity. Each sister also has their own budding beach romance. And both love interests are perfect book-boyfriends.
