I see many things, and yet I see no Poe. What will life give me next? * dramatic sigh *
I have Grapes of Wrath in my library because my grandfather insisted I'd read it. I haven't touched it for a year or so now, and I've only read a hundred pages of it because I was very bored one summer evening. Needless to say, that is the same thing I feel with Steinback in this volume - which makes me feel as if I'd have given this volume four stars even without the "No Poe no five stars" rule I made because of these inhumane treatments of my inner Poe fangirl. I am very happy to see Q, just another poor soul Which we do not see nearly as often as we should. Where did they disappear to? I need to see them more. Expecting the "Gin is a girl" reveal.
