The Kill Factor by Ben Oliver
reflective
sad
fast-paced
4.0
That was good. And i would read a sequel.
This brings up a lot of view points on our prison/jail system, social media, the rich/elite & those in poverty.
I liked it. & it was pretty faced paced. I may have liked it to slow down a bit at some points so there would be more sub plot development or character development for some of the characters. But yeah, hunger games/battle royale esque.
I wonder if the author actually doesnt agree with the incarceration system we have, or just wrote just to write. The acknowledgements kinda make it seem like it was just a good time and considering the subject matter I would think the experience would be the opposite.
