Single dad, small town, age gap romance. I mean, that alone should have you RUNNING to pick up this book.
Winnie is our sunshine, witty, and fun 22 yo while Dex is the grumpy, firefighter, single dad who is 34. He is recently divorced and is ex-military (Navy SEAL). He has two little girls (Luna and Hals) who I swore had me cracking up laughing the entire time, they are SO cute! Dex is against love and relationships and Winnie is our hopeless romantic who is so in love with the idea of falling in love that she is currently on a men's detox. Dex and his girls move in next door and the rest is history.
The chemistry between these two had me really struggling to put it down. Dex and Winnie melt my heart. Melanie is easily becoming one of my favorite authors and I love her epic love stories. Onto the next in this series which is about Ellie, Winnie's best friend!
