The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah

5.0

As usual, great books usually left me speechless. This one especially. I can't believe it that I was thisss close to DNF it because of the first half of the story; it was hella painful. I wanted to go inside the story and shake one of the characters into reality (and kill one? who knows).

But let me share to y'all one of my favourite quotes from this book —

She said to me once that she felt like she'd been nothing, a reflection of other people. She never quite understand her own worth. I hope she's looking down now and knows...finally...how loved she was.
