Three days, that was the time plot of this book. And oh what a book!
fifteen books in this series, all of which sum up approximately two years in Morganville's history, and I have loved most of them, if not all of them.
It has been great watching the characters grow. The evolution of Claire's character I think is the biggest, but maybe that's mostly because she is the main character, but it remains the same nontheless. She grew from the quiet little shy girl who were too young and smart for her own good, to becoming a mastermind and really the savior of the town, even if nobody is acknowledging it, I will say it. lol.

i loved everything about the book, but not so much the ending. I didn't like (SPOILER) the marriage part. I would've liked it better had it ended with a normal day at the glass house, with the bickering of Eve and Shane, and Michael and Claire just smiling at them and eating, or everybody shouting over eachother over who was responsible for the dishes. I enjoyed the epilouge, however even on that I would've liked it better had t been more about Amelie showing some feelings and gratitude toward Claire, since it was in some ways from Amelie's POV, it would seen sweeter somehow.

But really though, all of this said, it is amazing that a series with this many books still remained this good. The author seriously knows her stuff, and her characters. Not many times did we get lost in the characters personality, they remained solid and steady, even when they found themselves lost in their own little heads/worlds.

It was refreshing, and always a delight to read another book of the Morganville Vampire series. Never did I get tierd, I always looked forward for the books, and man am I glad that there were more than one published every year.

I am not sad it ended, even though I will miss the characters. It's a good thing that this book series is turning into a TV series, so there will definitely be more of them, and whenever I feel like I'm away from Morganville too long, I will just randomly pick one of the books, and go back to southern part of USA and hang with them for a while.
