I finished this book in a little more than 24 hours because I could not bring myself to put it down. The only thing scarier than the sheer dysfunction and paranoia of a disconnected world was the christian fundamentalism fuelling eugenics in Labrador. I did roll my eyes at the fact that the most advanced civilisation (S/Zealand) just happened to be the most eurocentric, and that is the only reason I'm giving it a 4 as opposed to a 5.
