Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater
5.0
I really like the character I don’t wanna say development but depth here. I thought this would be Blue’s book but it’s Adam’s. I did love reading more into Blue’s mind and her relationship with her man with the cave. Yogurts count as greens btw and she’s the perfect height. Adam is my magician babyboy who just wants to be financially stable and free from stress. The villains are always so complex which i appreciate heavily and maggie knows how to write teenagers in my opinion. People say she doesnt cos these kids are problematic but that’s literally every kid ever. We say things we regret, we do things we shouldn’t without thinking and this book showed kind of the naivety in it beautifully and realistically.
