Penelope's Daughter by Laurel Corona

5.0

Anyone who is a fan of Homer's The Odyssey but often wondered what happened to the female point of view will love this novel. I have also read the young adult novel Waiting for Odysseus by Clemence McClaren, and this takes it a step further into a more adult and insightful perspective. Laurel Corona really did her research and these events fit so seamlessly into the traditional tale of Odyssey's absence in Ithaca.
