American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird, Martin J. Sherwin
4.0
I didn’t expect to be quite so fascinated by Oppenheimer after watching the film but here we are.
Honestly, this really didn’t go into much that the film didn’t but it was a very enjoyable read and I really appreciated diving deeper into some of the other people who were in the film but didn’t get much development - particularly the women.
Learning more about his background and childhood was also interesting. I’d definitely recommend if you just want to dig a little deeper.
