Taste: My Life Through Food by Stanley Tucci

5.0

You know that question “If you could invite five people to a dinner party, who would you pick?” Well, Stanley Tucci is definitely on that list. He’s likable and relatable in Taste. It was a delight to read, but don’t pick it up if you’re hungry. I have quite a few meal ideas ready for the coming weeks thanks to this read. I also appreciated his take on how his taste and smell changed during his battle with cancer and how he was able to finally overcome that battle. It spoke to me considering the months I’ve spent this year battling post-covid parosmia and dyseugia and how good really does shape a life.
