Not going to lie this book really disappointed me. It had such an interesting premise and the first few chapters intrigued me.
But then it was just meh, the story dragged on for took long with nothing really happening. It got very monotonous very quickly.
I think what I really disliked was how the MMC grew to love the FMC and in his own words became "obsessed" with her and then did nothing to protect her. There are numerous times in this book where something is said to him or he realises something that is actively trying to kill the FMC and does nothing, it was very frustrating.
Also the whole rape aspect was gross in general but how the author then played it off like some sort of love triangle thing was disgusting. I expected the MMC to rip that shithead to pieces and instead he's bantering with him. Get the fuck outta here.
