Gravity by Tal Bauer
4.0

4.5 stars for this exquisite love story!

How is it that I always cry on Tal Bauer books? The author has a way with words and storytelling that captivates you and speaks to your soul. And you have no chance but to feel the heartache, the joy, the love, the family feels radiate through the pages.

Gravity is a hockey romance. Storywise it is nothing extraordinary. Two players, Bryce and Hunter, who play on different teams meet at All-stars week and find a soul that is made for their own.

Obviously, it is not that easy, but love always find a way and they end up in a secret but beautiful realtionship. Of course, drama and angst are not to be left out and with a suckerpunch we are hit with dispair and hopelessness which needs to be overcome by love.
As I said, it is not the most original or extraordinary storyline but the author's strength is in the characters and the relationships and all that can be shown through little gestures and honest feelings.
The writing is so breathtakingly beautiful that as a reader you feel every emotion that our two main characters feel. And let me tell you, it is very special when a book can do that to you, take you on an emotional rollercoaster which you cannot escape until the very end.

All in all, Gravity was another heartwrenching love story by Tal Bauer, now in the form of a hockey romance, with almost instant feelings. Great work!
