The Everlasting Rose by Dhonielle Clayton

4.0

UGH, Sophia (I mean Moaning Myrtle) was just awful.

The Everlasting Rose was a pretty good sequel. Yes, it had some bumps along the way but I ended up enjoying it. Camellia is now on the run and is sort of out for revenge. Mostly because Princess Sophia is crazy and evil. Camellia and Remy are attempting to come up with a plan to take down Sophia and to bring her sister (who is believed to be dead) to the throne.

Remy, my sweet boy, I loved him. I loved them together so much. Honestly started shipping them when they first met back in book 1. Yet, I didn't want to ship them in this book because I didn't want the Author to sniff that out and then kill one of them.

Besides a smidge of romance, this had a lot of action. Possibly more than the first one.. yet, I still feel like it was missing something. No idea what that is but I was just expecting a bit more this time around. Loved the little betrayal parts though and I'm pumped for the next book.
