Ando is probably my favorite mangaka she’s good at handling her characters and arcs. However while the last 11 volumes were very strong this one has one big flaw that kinda lowers it not as a series but just as a volume. As the ending besides that is great.
The villain is set up well and has a good backstory yet they get away with everything and Arisas bond with them is very questionable. While Ando does try to give a good reason behind it it still makes it weaken a lot of the drama and conflict caused by the antagonist.
As for my praises I loved how Ando adds drama and character arcs they almost always work so well with the story. Also a shoujo manga that doesn’t have the MC in a romance by the end?
