The character development in this one moved WAYYYY too fast for me. One chapter they were strangers who didn't like each other, and the next they were all in love. I found this especially odd given the high stakes environment which you wouldn't think lends itself to opening up/being vulnerable with your enemies. And this was addressed, but in a very vague "unexplainable" sense. It was still very interesting and smolderingly hot but the characters were all a bit 1D.
