This is book 3 of the Psy-Changling series and focuses on Judd a very strong Psy with some really dark sides. He's been doing some good things but he is not a good guy (at least from his perspective).  He has a relationship with Brynna, who is a wolf shifter (changling) recovering from some nasty trauma (trigger warnings for assault in the recent past).  This is a love story between these two broken people and advances the overarching story line about things the Psy are doing to take over the world.

One of the main characters is recovering from being kidnapped and assaulted for several days (mentally and physically). This is a story of her recovery and reclaiming, but there is a significant portion of the book where we deal with memories, flashbacks, etc.
