Wow, I'm surprised how much I liked this book. Probably even more than the first part.
The first book is a bit strange. This one is better and more up to my alley for some reason. The relationship between Mason and Vasil is also a bit bizarre and definitely complicated. But I like their relationship more than Nicolae and Jack. There is a lot of anger and aggression in them but I also have no doubts about their loyalty to each other and deep friendship.
This is one of the most interesting relationships I've read about recently. There are definitely the best scenes of angry sex here, very hot, but at the same time I have no doubt that Mason and Vasil have feelings for each other.
Mason and Vasil are a very interesting couple but also very interesting heroes on their own. They are multidimensional and complex. They differ a lot from other heroes of mm romance (probably because of the amount of aggression in their relationship). I think they're more interesting than Jack and Nicolae. I read this story much more easily and with greater interest than the previous book. It was easier for me to get attached to the characters.
The next book is about Andreii, it can also be fascinating. Although I'm not sure I want to read another book right now. I think it's better to read them with some breaks between.
