A Study in Sherlock: Stories Inspired by the Holmes Canon by Leslie S. Klinger, Laurie R. King

4.0

If you enjoy the short story format, and are familiar with Sherlock Holmes, this is a great find! A wide variety of authors (including Neil Gaiman, Alan Bradley, and Dana Stabenow) are represented, and each brings a different perspective. I find ollections often have one or two gems and a wide swath of middling writing—the ratio here was that the wheat outnumbered chaff at least 5 to 1. I found some new authors, and am so pleased at my library’s ‘you might be interested in’ algorithm!
