Rogue Squadron by Michael A. Stackpole

2.0

Wasn't a big fan of this one. I kept spacing out as I read it. It started out promising with the introduction of the team and plot. After everything gets established it got a little generic. I couldn't picture the space battles in my head. The descriptions were basically he turned, flipped, made a maneuver, and then lined up his sights and fired. I thought it was tedious. I wonder if it's just the book or space battles described like this aren't best in print media and are best suited for film? I also had problems with the final mission being a rehash.

I liked some of the characters. Horn seemed like he may be developed into a good character. I like wedge.

Uninspired. I might give the second one a chance because now that the setting and characters are established more interesting events can start to happen.
