This young adult story of survival after a catastophic event in the near future is right in my wheelhouse. I loved the details (how will cows be milked if there's no electricity?) but they were things we learned along with Daisy. Not much of a spoiler but I really don't understand why the author made Daisy and Edmond cousins. It didn't add anything to the story except an ick factor. Read it anyway! You will love Piper and Jet!
