I wish this was longer! Getting bits and pieces of Cardan's life (third person POV) was fun to read, along with getting a more detailed description of the events in his life that made him become cruel.

Cardan could have had a whole series made from his point of view with the life he's led. The trilogy didn't have as much of him in it as I wished it did, so I'm glad this book was published.
