My Unexpected Vow by Harlow James

5.0

I was generously given an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

f: Waverly 24
m: Hayes 31
(Dual POVs)

First, let me start off by saying I was so excited for this book after seeing Waverly and Hayes' banter in My Unexpected Serenity, and this book did not disappoint in the slightest! The banter carries over into this book, and I was so happy to see that it didn't automatically simmer down as soon as they got married. As the banter continues, the sexual tension between these two is almost too much to handle!

I admired Waverly's determination to make a name for herself and not take advantage of her family name. It was adorable to watch Hayes slowly become domesticated and make plans for him and his 'fake wife'. Oh.My.God. Hayes' protective side? I was not expecting that! It had me practically melting, so I suggest you stay close by to a fan or a freezer in order to cool down!

To sum it up, I loved everything about this book and if you're a fan of enemies-to-lovers, sexually tense banter, and hot kitchen counter sex scenes, get this book NOW!
