Scythe by Neal Shusterman
4.0
I typically find most YA books to have bland or outright bad writing, caricature characters, and generic plotlines. That was not the case with this book. It is immensely readable, contains a great cast, and a unique premise. Also, the covers for these books are awesome. This book is pretty dark, which is a bonus for me but perhaps a bit shocking for being YA. About the worst thing you can say about this book is, while I enjoyed the characters, they all tend to fall pretty squarely into "good" or "bad" classifications. Definitely recommended.
