It is after this book that I am finished with this series and will not read the other two. I loved the plot twist and cliff hanger in book at the end of book one. I thought it subverted expectations and I was curious to see where book two went. 

Having her not only come back to life but as a Seelie Fae was just brilliant. But I was disappointed because if felt like there was little pay off for it.

We are supposed to believe in the love between the two main characters but I dont feel it. There is nothing to prove that affection has developed. This girl who wanted to save millions of lives is suddenly so bleh... 

I think the story pacing is slow, and the narrative just goes in circles. The main character still hasnt developed any sort of backbone or problem solving skills.
