This was really interesting and I loved the magic system.
But again with royalty that's gonna choose a partner through a selection process. It's just.. baah. I don't like it at all. We all know that the MC is gonna "win" in some way.
Other than that it was good, but the ending was so quick. It was resolved to quickly imo.
I didn't really feel the connection and the feelings between the MCs. It was just there.
