Dead Famous: An Unexpected History of Celebrity from Bronze Age to Silver Screen by Greg Jenner

3.75

sometimes authors struggle to get their own voice through when writing non-fiction but this is NOT the case with greg jenner <3

very much enjoyed learning from this book, and having it feel like i was being taught directly by greg himself rather than having information plonked in front of me. it was very info heavy so sometimes i had to read in small doses but that’s not even really a complaint tbh. i find the subject of celebrity so interesting and really liked the way it was discussed (even if i did sometimes forget who was who and have to stop and check). thanks greg!!
