This book was wild. Out of all her books the love was pretty steady in this one. I do like that their commitment was challenged deeply. It really showed how crazy we can be in love, what we will do, and how we can overcome challenges.
This was a painful read as with a lot of her books but this one was specifically tense.
This book ended a little rushed it feels. I’d love another book. I want to know how their life moves forward. I’m invested in this love. The other books of hers I felt wrapped up. This one I want a bit more.
But then again, what is a good lesbian plot without some yearning? Thanks Sarah Waters. You get me
