I enjoyed this book, but there were some parts of it I found so frustrating. Namely, there was too much untranslated French. I found myself often confused about what was going on or being said. The character of Lucy Snowe was interesting, and well developed. Parts of the book dragged for me, but I did become interested in her story and wanted to find out how it ended.
