Charmed: Season 9, Volume 3 by Paul Ruditis, Constance M. Burge

4.0

Mini review time! I enjoyed how this one focused more on family issues than on the larger issues of the magical world. What I'm really liking about the graphic novels is how they focus individually on one of the sisters and her family. I'm glad that the Charmed family is growing, although I sometimes struggle with keeping the kids straight in my head.

Unfortunately there's something I did not like about this volume despite the art being consistent. I realize that this is a magical world, but there are still rules that were created to make the world realistic in its own way. There were some choices made in this volume that I felt were not realistic to the world, so I was a little disappointed. I didn't like how it changed things and I'm not sure how the series can continue with that looming over it. Being purposefully vague because of spoilers. In any case, I'll be continuing because I love Charmed.
