King of Wrath by Ana Huang

“How’s living with Dante? Has he driven you mad with his insistence on spacing all his candles exactly six inches apart yet?” “Don’t get me started.”

God, where do I even start, this book kinda made me feel like my heart was in a blender and I was on a roller coaster, but in a good way. I don’t think I have tried to read anything faster before. This is my first Ana Huang book and now I just want to go and read every book she’s ever written. The characters, the plot and the writing are just *chefs kiss*. This book was so goddam hard to put down. I don’t think I could ever get enough of Dante and Vivian, they had me internally screaming throughout this entire book. There is nothing like a strong female and her man who gets on his knees to ask for forgiveness. Dante is a hard man who had the biggest soft spot for Vivian, and in the end, he wanted to admit it to everyone. This book put butterflies in my stomach watching Vivian and Dante falling for each other. But that last third of the book had me sitting on the edge of my chair, just begging Vivian to take him back. All of Dante and Vivian’s issues could have been solved from the start if Dante had been honest. But that wouldn’t make it the amazing wild ride that this book takes you on, would it? This has to be the best arraigned marriage book I’ve ever read. I’m so pumped for the rest of this series, if this book is anything to go by, you just know it’s going to be absolutely amazing.

“I spent thirty-seven years thinking my perfect match didn’t exist. You proved me wrong in less than one. And even though we didn’t do it right the first time, I’m hoping you’ll give me a chance to prove myself a second time.”
