oof this book
i went into this loving it and ended up feeling so fucking bitter
taking a concept so interesting and executing this badly must be a talent like i'm so mad
things i hated
- jules, olivia, will, jonah were so insufferable hated reading about them
- it takes literally FOREVER for the actual murder to happen
- a huge plot hole with Aoife which i won't spoil but didn't make sense, this is why the whole multiple povs thing falls flat on it's face because how the fuck wasn't she thinking abt something like that
- cliched character arcs especially jules like i know this stuff happens alot but it was done so half heartedly
- the shitty filler chapters that takes place on the wedding day when the murder happens - like it hardly progresses the plot at all
- one character self harms and it's hardly ever discussed
- such a messy conclusion, without hardly any closure
- the book would've worked if it took place after the person got murdered and we were trying to figure out who - the povs thing killed the fun
- many plot points don't get proper closure
- the book abruptly ends
- will's stupid fucking friends, they were so annoying to hear them yell about finding a body
tolerable things
- kind of interesting at first
- i liked hannah and Aoife
- it was short
ugh... tempted to give a 1 star cause how i'm angry at it but it did some things right so it sits at 1.5 for now.
