A very, very interesting book. Loved the premise. Loved the execution. Loved the wrap up. I know I'm reading these in the wrong order because of the clockwork mentions but I'll get there eventually. The magic in this was as normal as magic gets. Rhea was a headstrong protagonist. The kind you always dream would be you in an absurd story. Normal but bold (when needed). Scared but still moving forward. Because while crying would make you feel better (and give you a stuffy nose), it wouldn't solve your problems.
P.S. There's a cute hedgehog 🦔 in this.
