The Half-Orc's Maiden Bride
by Ruby Dixon
I was enjoying this book until the stupid pre-marriage rituals from The King's Spinster Bride were mentioned. I kept hoping it was a misdirect and the story would go a different direction. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. These rituals ruined a sweet, adorable love story.
Characters are delightful. Romance is engaging. Not a fan of the worldbuilding that demands nonsense rituals that reduces a woman's worth to her looks and a man's worth to the talents of his tongue.
