This was a very descriptive thriller set on a mountain told through the eyes of Cecily a journalist ready to tell the story of an experienced mountaineers  challenge. What made it stand out is that Amy herself climbed the mountain so the level of detail included and the people who helped her is real, this helped to make the story extremely realistic. All the different characters and the difficulty with the altitude did make you question if it was just sickness or if the murders were actually happening as Cecily even doubted herself. I guessed that Charles was the murderer, however the twist with Doug being the father of the girl Cecily was haunted by was unexpected.
