Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones

5.0

This has become a favorite for me. I will be suggesting it to all and buying a physical copy of it. I found the story captivating and I leisurely let Jones take me on a fantasy ride through Market Chipping, the castle, Porthaven, Kingsbury and Howls boyhood home in Wales. I traveled through worlds and fell in love with the characters. Jones imagination is a world that is so detached from understanding and so magical you want to be in those worlds, with those people fighting against the Witch of the Waste.

After reading some reviews with the movie attached. I watched the movie as well. I did not enjoy it as much as the book. It is based very loosely on the book. However, it can be enjoyable if you look at it as a separate entity.
