I was told this book was amazing and they were not wrong. Kazi has been sent by the Queen to find a traitor. Jace is the newly appointed leader after his fathers sudden death. Neither expected to be thrown together and forced to survive by relying on each other and  neither expected to grow close on that journey. I liked that the romance wasn’t drawn out over multiple books and that that part was condensed into the first book. But that ending, talk about ripping a persons heart out and stomping on it. Second book is needed, stat.
