A Silent Voice, Vol. 3
by Yoshitoki Oima
Wow, I guess it was inevitable that other classmates from elementary school would join this cast. But the character development of our current cast with these new additions is definitely fascinating, especially with regard to the varied dynamics of the relationships: a positive one for Shoko and a more... neutral-ish(?) one for Shoya.
This series is proving to be very encompassing, and I can easily see why it would be made into a film. Why a film instead of an anime is anybody's guess, but I'm hoping that they will be able to show all of the dynamics and the character development within that span of film time.
Here's looking forward to the next volume, especially after THAT kind of cliffhanger of an ending.
