This is a book that is so easy to love. It is full of comfort, joy, and cosiness without being remotely cloying - the way that the story is told is incredibly compelling. Reading this made me feel more grounded and hopeful for this winter, and what comes beyond it. Definitely a novel I will be gifting and recommending lots.
