Nolan Trilogy: Box Set by Selena Kitt
3.0

To be honest, I wasn't even sure I could even rate the book because I don't even know how I feel. I can't rate it low because with the complexity of this story, I know the author took a lot of time and effort to concoct this and for that she gets kudos. But, I can't rate it high because there are some things I can't get with even in fiction. This book was the definition of mindf&$k. The series would've been better if it didn't focus on so many storylines at once, it was just SO.MUCH. going on! You had the older man/younger woman, Catholic Church scandal, lesbian lovers, unwed pregnant mother (it's set in the 50s). It was just a clusterf#%k overload. Everything you thought you knew at at the beginning, WRONG! Things start off erotic and sexy and then you're hit with oops they're related. Then it's confirmed those two aren't related BUT these two are, oh and these two, oh and they're brother/sister, mother/father. By the end, I was honestly just flabbergasted and left with a big WTF?? I mean I think of myself as a pretty open minded person but there are some things even I can't be open to. Yet, I would recommend this story because it's so outrageous you have to read it for yourself. It is definitely NOT for the faint of heart.
