The Girl in the Ice by Robert Bryndza

4.0

4.5 stars. What a ride! A well-written police procedural that never once felt dry or improbable. My only gripe was, sometimes Erika's conversations with her boss felt too bold, as if she didn't care at all about a possibility of being fired there and then. That's not how it works in real life. Other than that, it was a perfect thriller to curl up with in January - the book is set in a bleak January in London.
And I really like Erika so I'll definitely read other books about her.
