Rating: 4.5 This was a very captivating read. I picked it up on a whim to get out of my book slump and let me tell you...it sure did the trick. First things first, the main character. She is an absolute badass. Doesn't hold back her thoughts. She is the first to jump in and save the day. She is exactly the heroine I've been dreaming of for a book.
I could go into a whole tangent about Nyfain and his glorious body, but I'll leave that for another day. However; I do want to mention that I completely love their dynamic. I believe they thrive off each other's energy and I'm all here for it.
The world in this book is amazing and something I can't wait to learn more about. Shifters are something I haven't seen a lot in the books I read and it is absolutely fascinating to me. I'm ready to dive deeper into this series!
